GOOD FOR

  • · Visitors with two free hours and curious about the river
  • · Families with kids old enough to hold a rod
  • · Anglers staying in town who want a quick local session

INCLUDED

  • · Orvis-trained guide (the real kind, not a sales associate)
  • · Rod, reel, line, leader, flies, and waders
  • · On-site water in walking distance from the shop
  • · A no-pressure first cast

WHAT TO EXPECT

You walk in the shop, we fit you with waders and boots, hand you a rod, and walk five minutes down to the river. Your guide spends the first ten minutes on a casting basics overview right on the bank. Then you fish. Most people in our two-hour trip catch a fish, often within the first thirty minutes. The point is to take the mystery out, not to make you a competition angler. If you want more, we book you a half- or full-day next time.
