WHAT TO EXPECT
The float trip is the most-booked guided experience in the Colorado high country, and for good reason. You meet your guide at the shop at 6:30am for the shuttle to the put-in. From there it's eight hours on the water, fishing structure your boots can't reach. Your guide rows, you cast. Lunch is a packed riverside stop. The trip ends at the take-out, where the shuttle is waiting. You'll throw streamers, dries, and nymphs depending on what's working. Most clients land more fish on a float than on any walk-and-wade day.
